Last year we visited the excellent Galerie Dior so this year decided to try out the Yves Saint Laurent museum. Pre-booked the tickets. It was all about gold. Very well done, especially after having seen a documentary on his life. Didn’t like it as much as Dior but can recommend. We exited around 1230 so had time to lesirely walk to the restaurant, Le Clarence, a 2 Michelin stars, for our lunch. We stopped into Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Consolation, nice little church. This is a very pretty, rich area. All the cars were fancy, expensive, with foreign oil $ plates.

Le Clarence is in a mansion and we were sat in a back room that was very pretty. It wasn’t full. IT’s a multiple course meal. We arrived at 1pm and departed at 450pm. Crazy! We had desert at our table at 412 then went upstairs for after-dinner drinks and coffee. Spectacular place! Excellent food! Comfortable, welcoming, yet professional service. Would definitely go back.

We headed out to walk off our lunch. Wandered down Champs Elysees, which in all our trips we’d never really done. Stopped into Zara and Galleries Lafayette (this store is just boring, nothing like the Galleries Lafayette Haussmann). We made it to the Cartier store and were able to get links removed from Phil’s old watch. They were very accommodating. Kept wandering. Took the Metro to Trocadero to see the Eiffel Tower. Too early, it wasn’t even lit up, lol. Wandered from there back to the apartment, arriving home after 9pm. Lovely day!
